Cooking Landscape
Generally, in architecture exhibition, materials will be some models and drawings which scaled smaller than the real world. And in most cases, they are displayed alone on a clean surface for clear imaginations, with no disturb.
As a part of "emerging trajectories exhibition" which showcase works of Japanese young architect who studied abroad, we had an opportunity to use Miele's kitchen space as our gallery. While the kitchen space and well-designed tools already had a quality of design exhibition, we did not have any built projects to show at that time in 2013. Only we had was conceptual research and works from a university. Contrary to normal, display materials - our works became an intervenor and foreign matter in this exhibition. The landscape created by the collection of kitchen tool helped our projects to be evaluated as a real-scale stranger on the table.
